About Us

What is a BPOU? 

BPOU stands for Basic Political Operating (or Organization) Unit. A BPOU is your local level organization where conservatives come together to support candidates and coordinate election related activities. It is the most fundamental way you can become involved in the American political system. Also known as your local GOP or Republican Party.  

WHAT DO WE DO?

• Select, endorse, and support candidates that reflect our values
• Communicate and promote Republican values and information to our constituents to increase our base
• Involve volunteers to help endorsed candidates with their campaign activities
• Raise funds to help support the above responsibilities

Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Wadena VFW at 7:00 pm.
